Kelly Nelson is an actress, model, dancer,

singer, movement choreographer, and

deviser based in Minneapolis, MN.

Acting has been a longtime passion.

She’s had the privilege of working with

local theatre companies such as The

Guthrie, Park Square Theatre, and Theatre

Coup d’Etat. She was recognized in the

2018 issue of Lavender Magazine as

Outstanding Supporting Actress for her

roles in both Marisol and The Maids.

Pursuing another passion as a

published model she has worked

with a variety of photographers

in and out of the Midwest, taking pride in

executing the vision of every shoot.

Under the guidance of Coco Rocha herself

she specializes in creative, commercial

andlifestyle photography and is always

open to explore different concepts.

Kelly strives to be a model for change

and use her influence to perpetuate social

justice.

Dancing and choreography inspires Kelly

to create beautiful art when it comes to

telling a story.

As a movement choreographer, she has

created collaborations with Park Square

Theatre, Theatre Coup d’Etat, Lakeshore

Players, and Candid Theatre. Kelly was

recognized at the 2017 Ivey Theatre

Awards with Equus and the 2018

Minnesota Theatre Awards for

Exceptional New Work in Moby Dick.
